Lucille K. Guzy Lucille K. Guzy, 96, formerly of Allentown, died Dec. 29, 2008 at her daughters residence in East Waterford. She was the widow of the late Michael Guzy. Born in Macungie, she was the daughter of the late Norman and May (Knauss) Gilbert. She worked for the former Benesch Furniture Company, Merritt Lumber Co., and the Allentown Osteopathic Hospital, retiring in 1977. She was a member of Zions Reformed U.C.C., Allentown, where she was a 76-year choir member and member of the Womans Guild. She was an active member of the Allentown Municipal Opera Co. She loved to go to the casinos and was an avid bowler. Survivors: Daughter, Linda M. wife of David C. Leahy of East Waterford; Grandchildren, Matthew Jarrett and wife Michelle, Kristina Jarrett, and Tara Hartley and husband Michael; 4 Great Grand Children. She was predeceased by a son, Laird M. Guzy and a grandson, Jon Jarrett, Jr. Services: Memorial Services Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Zions Reformed U.C.C., 620 Hamilton St., Allentown.
