Lucille M. Dowling (Somers), 93, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born on November 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Lodia and Peter Somers and graduated from Lawrence High School in Massachusetts. Up until her later years, she was in a bowling league and an avid golfer and a member of Saucon Valley Country Club. She loved all games and was a wizard at word games. She was a devoted grandmother and cherished all of the time that she spent with her grandson, Liam. She had an infectious smile and laughter that turned ordinary moments into extraordinary ones.

Lucille "Lu" was predeceased by her husband Raymond and is survived by her son, David, daughter Dawn (Derek), grandson Liam, sister Elaine (John), nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Funeral services will be held in Massachusetts at a later date.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
