Louise W. Kern, age 91, of Easton, PA, passed away on November 8, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Roland T. and Anna M. (Clymer) Wieder. She was the loving wife of the late George A. Kern with whom they shared 53 years of marriage.

She graduated from Emmaus High School in 1951. She worked as a receptionist for Dr. Kirk's Office. She was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church and King's Daughters and Sons for 60 years. Louise enjoyed ceramics, antiquing, embroidery, reading and dishes, especially crystal dishes.

Louise is survived by her son, Roland F. Kern and his wife Denise; daughter, Susan J. Duffield and her husband Michael; grandchildren, Roland, Corey, Ryan, Matthew and Jonathan; great grandchildren, Skylar, Mia, Avery, Peyton, Layla and Levi and nephew, Tom Wieder. She was predeceased by brother, Rolland Wieder.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Viewing will be held prior from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Interment will be held in Emmaus Moravian Cemetery.
