Louis R. Ruhnke Louis R. "Pepaw" Ruhnke, 79, of Dorneyville, died December 9, 2013 in his residence. He was the husband of Dorothy J. (Bratsko) Ruhnke. Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Louis and Anna (Beale) Ruhnke. He was a graduate of the former Newark College of Engineering. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Filmtech Corporation for 15 years, retiring in 2011. Survivors: Wife; Sons, Jeffrey L. Ruhnke of Allentown, James P. Ruhnke of Louisville, KY, Jerry R. Ruhnke of Lebanon, and John E. Ruhnke of Marion, IL; Daughter, Jill H.E. Ruhnke of Allentown; Sister, Francis Smith of Syracuse, NY; 11 Grandchildren including Zakeri M.
