Lorraine M. Haas, 87, of Emmaus, died August 5, 2015 in Fellowship Manor. She was the widow of Donald W. Haas. Born in Ormrod, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Minnie J. (Warmkessel) Herbster. She was a 1946 graduate of Whitehall High School and a 1950 graduate of Kutztown State College. She was a teacher at The Lutheran Home at Topton and for the East Penn School District. She was a charter member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit and was a choir member. She was a member of the PA Association of School Retirees and taught Tai Chi at Fellowship Manor. Survivors: Son, Dean Haas and wife Karen of Kutztown; Daughters, Winona Schappell of Breinigsville, Denise wife of Frank Mazurek of Allentown, and Celeste wife of Tom Deily of Alburtis; Grandchildren, Jason, Heather, Greg, Rebecca, Kevin, Sarah, Nicholas, and Lauren and Great Grandchildren, Leah, Lilly, Lorelei, and Calvin. Services: Memorial Service Monday, August 10, 2015 at 10:30 AM in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus, PA 18049.
