Linnie J. Behrle Linnie J. Behrle, 72, of Emmaus, died November 26, 2009 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Ronald N. Behrle. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 30, 2009. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Linnie M. (Kreitzberger) and Joseph G. Funk, Sr. She was a 1958 graduate of Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital, retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Anns Catholic Church, Emmaus. She was a member of the Catholic Nurses Guild and leader of Girl Scout Troop #937, Emmaus. Survivors: Husband; Son, Kevin C. Behrle and wife Nancy of League City, TX; Daughter, Valerie L. wife of Kevin J. McCloskey of Allentown, Vanessa L. wife of Robert K. Leslie of Hazelton, and Veronica L. wife of John W. Hornung of Virginia Beach, VA; Brothers, Joseph Funk, Jr., John Funk, and James Funk; Sisters, Carol Mack, Janet Kemmerer, Barbara Dornblaser, Beverly Funk, and Marilyn Frank; Grandchildren, Michael, Kyle, Josh, Casey, Chelsea, Adam, Maggie, Ryan, Isaac, Dilan, Jamie, Sarah, and Jacob. She was predeceased by a sister, AnnaMae Schmoyer. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009 in St. Anns Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th St., Emmaus at 11:00 AM. Viewing Monday 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
