Leonard Cerami Leonard Cerami, 92, of Emmaus, passed away May 3, 2012. he was the husband of Carmela (Casciano) Cerami. They were married 65 years. Born in Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Philip and Maria (Sabattini) Cerami. He retired in 1985 from Mack Trucks. A WWII veteran, serving in the European Theater with A Co. of the 86th Engineers Heavy Ponton Battalion. A veteran of the Battle of the Bulge and recipient of 5 campaign stars. He was a life member of the VFW Post 13, Allentown. Survivors: Wife; Sons, Philip L. Cerami and wife Debra of Sierra Vista, AZ, Dominic A. Cerami and wife Nancy of Whitehall, Mark S. Cerami and wife Cathy of Coopersburg, Michael J. Cerami of Zionsville, and Christopher D. Cerami of Emmaus; 15 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Leonard Cerami, Jr. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wed., May 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM in St. Anns Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th St., Emmaus. Viewing Tue. 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Wednesday 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Interment with military honors will follow in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Allentown.
