Leon A. Davieau, Jr., age 91, of Allentown, passed away on May 23, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Passaic, NJ, he was the son of the late Leon A. Sr., and Cecile (Ducharme) Davieau. He was the loving husband of Maryann (Resotko) with whom he shared 69 years of marriage.

He graduated from Pope Pious High School in 1950 and earned his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Newark College of Engineering. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Leon worked for Bell Labs as an Engineer and retired in 1989. He was a member of Saint Ann's Church in Emmaus.

Leon is survived by his wife Maryann; sons, Gerald Davieau and his wife Rebecca and David Davieau and his wife Marilee; daughters, Kathleen Hoffman and her husband Mark, Karen Lapos and her husband Mark and Laura Stephon and her husband David; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by sister, Pauline Van Der Kraats.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Saint Ann's Church, 415 S. 6th Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Emmaus. Viewing will be held the day prior on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street Emmaus, PA 18049.
