Leon E. Cummings, 91, of Emmaus, died April 27, 2017 in Lehigh Valley hospital. He was the husband of the late Jean S. (Suter) Cummings. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Eugene and Pearl (Garrett) Cummings. Leon was a graduate of Lehigh University and honorably served his country in the Army Air Corp. during WWII. He worked for Lehigh Portland Cement, retiring as Corporate Vice President. He was a life member of The Mercantile Club of Emmaus, former member of Lehigh Country Club and the Livingston Club, was a former member of the Board of Directors of Maryland Midland Railway, and a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Emmaus.

Survivors: Daughter, Lori wife of Joseph Imhof of Emmaus; Son-in-Law, Dr. Michael King of Reading; Grandchildren, Heather Mobilo (Matt), Christopher Imhof (Chelsea), and Rori Gallagher (Brian); Great Grandchildren, Sienna, Mila, and Luca. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sheri Cummings-King.

Services: Services will be at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
