Lawrence C. "Larry" Rush, 88, of Macungie, died April 24, 2016 in in his residence surrounded by his family. He was the widower of Jean C. (Sandbrook) Rush. Born in Washington, NJ, he was the son of the late Carlton and Mabel (Hoffman) Rush. He graduated from both Catasauqua High School and Muhlenberg College. Larry worked as an Independent Financial Planner for over 50 years. He honorably served his country in the Army. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Larry also had a life-long love of baseball and played in the Phillies Minor League organization. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.

Survivors: Daughters, Kimberly J. wife of Jeffrey Germani of Macungie and Judy A. wife of Timothy Buda of Allentown; Sister, Joyce Hentzel of Allentown; Grandchildren, Jeffrey Germani and wife Amber, Jamison Germani, Koriann Germani, Taylor Buda, and Timothy Buda; 3 Great Grandchildren, Isabella, Sophia, and Jeffrey.

Services: Private graveside services will be held in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
