Lawrence H. "Larry" Schaffer, age 77, of Emmaus, passed away on November 18, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Burrows) Schaffer with whom they shared 40 years of marriage. He was born in Allentown to the late Herbert Monroe Schaffer and Lucille Claire (Shive) Phillip.

He was a graduate of William Allen High School Class of 1962. Lawrence proudly served in the United States Navy.

Larry was the owner and operator of Tri-Tech Business Machines in Bethlehem for many years.

Larry loved camping with Barbara, and looked forward to their yearly trips to Florida where they met many dear friends. He was a devoted grandfather who was very proud of his grandchildren. On Sundays he enjoyed watching NASCAR races. Larry is best described by everyone who knew him as a good man.

He was a member of the Mercantile Club, Catholic War Vets, American Legion, Emmaus Fire Co #1, Citizens' Fire Co #2, and Macungie VFW.

Surviving along with his wife Barbara are daughters, Natalie Yaniger and Michelle Matrishin; grandchildren Leah, Cole, Sophia, Quinn, Ava, Emma, Liam, Morgan, Colby, and Parker; and brother Gerald Schaffer. He was predeceased by his first wife Ileana Estela (Balga) Schaffer and daughter Laurie Bourdeau.

You are invited to visit with family and friends on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Schantz Funeral Home P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Memorial Service will start at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
