LaRue V. Zentner, 91, of Emmaus, passed away July 15, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice.  She was the widow of Warren L. Zentner.  Born in Vera Cruz, she was the daughter of the late Solomon and Theresa (Malik) Dries.  She was employed by the 1st National Bank of Allentown for many years and in her husband's business, Zentner Bros. Painting.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  Over the years she was a Girl Scout Leader, Sunday School Teacher, volunteer at the Topton Lutheran Home yearly Christmas event.  She was a lifetime member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church.  She was an Emmaus High School graduate of the class of 1943 and active in her class reunions.  She enjoyed family, baking, and playing cards.  LaRue was a lifetime member of Soroptomist International and past President.

Survivors: Daughter, Kathryn wife of Christopher Scott; Grandsons, Joshua (Wife Karen) and Jonathan; Great Granddaughters, Julia and Jossllynn Scott.  She was predeceased by 5 Brothers and 3 Sisters, Elijah, Irwin, David, Paul, Albert, Susan, Helen, and Ruth.

Services: Graveside Services Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
