Obituary

Larry M. Heinly, 73, of Smith Mountain Lake, VA, formerly of Emmaus, died March 7, 2018.  He was the husband of Barbara A. (Bernecker) Heinly, with whom he celebrated 53 years of marriage.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Mosby H. and Elizabeth A. (Semmel) Heinly.  He worked as a production manager for Colebrook Farms, sales representative for Preston Trucking, and national account representative for Estee's Express.  He honorably served his country in the Army during Vietnam.  He was a former member of Emmaus Lions Club and member of the board of directors and secretary for Lehman Lake Rod and Gun Club.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Barbara, Larry is survived by a daughter, Amber E. Johnson and her husband Greg of Smith Mountain Lake, VA; Sister, Sandra A. Bartholomew of Allentown; Grandsons, Owen T. and Henry E. Sosnoski; Nieces and Nephews.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Ellen M. Sosnoski.

Services: Memorial Services will be held on Tues., March 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM in St. John's U.C.C., 149 N. 4th St., Emmaus.  Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.  Interment with military honors will follow in Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
