Kristin L. Wentz, age 58, of Emmaus, passed away on April 15, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. She was the loving wife of Frederick E. "Rick" Wentz, Jr. with whom they shared 34 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Lois (Eckert) Koch.

She graduated from Lehigh Valley Christian Academy (LVCA) in 1983 and earned a business degree from Allentown Business School as well as a Dental Degree from Lehigh Valley School of Dental Assisting. She worked for many years as a dental assistant and finished her career at Dr. Allen R. Crawford, DMD. Kris was a member of St. John's U.C.C., in Emmaus.

Kris will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Family was very important to her and she was known as being a wonderful and understanding mom. She enjoyed running, gardening, and spending time with her cat Jasper. She was passionate about baking. Kris would go out of her way for anyone to be compassionate, kind and friendly.

Kris is survived by her husband, Rick; children, Rob Nicol (Laura), Rachel Wentz (Shane) and Erick Wentz; grandchildren, Owen and Vivienne; siblings, Barry Koch, Deb Koch (Lisa) and Kevin Koch (Diane) and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson Clyde Lester Bailey.

Please celebrate Kris's life on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus at 8:00 PM. Viewing 6:00-8:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
