Kristian B. Andersen, 40, of Emmaus, died August 8, 2020 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of Daniel T. and Mary A. (Hollywood) Andersen.  He was a graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School and Lehigh University.  Kristian worked in the restaurant industry.  He was a member of St. John's U.C.C., Emmaus.  Kristian was a spiritual person and well-read in theology and other topics.  He was a music enthusiast of many genres, a free spirit, artist, poet, musician and political junky.  He loved open mic nights at Vargtimmen King Koffee.  He also enjoyed spending time at Emmaus Triangle Park.

Kristian is survived by his mother, Mary Andersen; father and stepmother, Daniel and Cynthia Andersen; sister, Kathleen (McGlaughlin) Mooney widow of Thomas Mooney, III; stepbrother, Ben Zaboy and stepsister, Camille Zaboy Rave; aunt, Margaret Andersen Ledger; uncles, Alan Andersen and Glenn Andersen and predeceased by Michael Andersen; niece, Brooke Mooney; nephew, Michael Mengel and wife Alyssa; great niece and nephew, Hayley Dunbar and Hudson Mengel; cousins, Stephen Andersen and Michael Andersen, Jr.  He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Cletus and Sally (Lavelle) Hollywood of Palmerton, PA and paternal grandparents, Alf and Gunvor (Engelsen) Andersen.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 11:00 AM at triangle park next to St. John's UCC Church at 139 N. 4 ^th Street, Emmaus, PA. .  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
