Kermit K. Gehman, 93, of Whitehall, formerly of Emmaus, died August 7, 2012 in Fellowship Manor. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce (Leibert) Gehman and daughter Marlene. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late William A. and Florence (Yost) Gehman. He was the secretary-treasurer of the former Wm. A. Gehman Sons Chrysler Plymouth. He was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, Allentown. Throughout his life he served and contributed to many business, charitable, and Christian boards including: Bible Fellowship Board of Missions, the former Merchants Bank, N.A., Lehigh County Agricultural Society, The Leonard Pool Society, Pinebrook Bible Conference, Victory Valley Camp, and Word of Life International. Survivors: Sons, Larry K. Gehman and wife Suzanne of Brownsburg, IN, K. Kirk Gehman and wife Inga of Arlington, TX, Kevin K. Gehman and wife Tammy of Emmaus, PA; Sister Betty Rapp of Whitehall, PA; Five Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private services and interment have been held. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus handled the arrangements. Kermits influence and involvement was felt around the world.
