Kenneth R. Holland, Sr. Kenneth R. Holland, Sr., 86, of Emmaus, died March 24, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the widower of Frances A. (Schmeltzle) Holland. Born in Topton, he was the son of the late George W. and Beulah (Hilbert) Holland. He was a knitter for the former Royal Manufacturers and an assembler for the former General Machine, Emmaus retiring in 1989. He was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville. He was a past member of the Milford Men's Bowling League, a life member of Emmaus Citizen's Fire Co. #2, and a member of the Alburtis Senior Citizens. He honorably served his country in the Navy during WWII. Survivors: Sons, Kenneth R. Holland, Jr. and wife Nancy of Emmaus and Dennis R. Holland, Sr. and wife Lucy of Emmaus; Brother, Melvin C. Holland and wife Jennie of Wylersville; 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Wesley Holland and Lloyd Trexler and a sister, Melba Kleppinger. Services: Funeral Service Wed., March 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Old Zionsville.
