Kenneth A. Bulmer, 71, of Allentown PA, passed away April 26, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.  He was the husband of Susan (Brake) Bulmer.  Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of Dorothy (Henderson) Bulmer and the late Kenneth C. Bulmer.  He served honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War.  Kenneth worked as a shop supervisor for Hunterdon Transformer Company for 40 years before he retired.  He was also a member of the American Legion in Easton.

Ken had a passion for race cars, racing dirt cars in his youth, and going to races of all different kinds throughout his life. His hobbies included fixing up cars and making die cast models of his favorite drivers. Ken coached his kids in baseball and enjoyed watching them and his grandkids in all their activities. He rooted for Alabama football, Las Vegas Raiders, and Detroit Red Wings and bet many milkshakes with his family. Throwing horseshoes, bowling with his wife, golfing, and playing pool with his family were among his favorite sports activities. He loved the beach, finding heart-shaped rocks with his wife, and going to diners. Ken enjoyed woodworking and creating beautiful wooden American flags. Ken loved nothing more than playing cornhole and sitting around the fire pit with his children and grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sue; son, Luke Bulmer of Allentown; daughters, Rebecca Phillips and her husband Larry of Alburtis, and Robin Kuo and her husband Jason of Mendham, NJ. He is also the beloved Pepa to his 7 grandchildren- Rachel, Erica, Makayla, Tristan, Arianna, Jackson, and Elana.  He was predeceased by his brother, Gary and his sister, Debbie.

Friends and family are welcome for visitation and the memorial service on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus, PA. The visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM and the memorial service with military honors will be held immediately following.
