Katie Hunter, born on May 20, 1991 was granted her angel wings on October 18, 2010. Katie was loved and adored by her father and mother. She was so beautiful, so full of hope and promise. What a blessing she has been to all of us who knew her those 19 years. She taught us to love, to hope beyond expectation, to trust in that which is unseen. She drew us together in our joys and delight and in her every breath. Her life ended prematurely; too soon she died. Our hearts are emptier for her absence and the unfulfilled dreams she promised. But the love she brought into our lives will live forever. Katies courage led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. Her smile melted the hearts of those around her. She enjoyed music, singing, dancing, and loved to play cards. With Katies passing it will remind us that her life is one to be celebrated and she will always be remembered in our hearts. Katie is a 2010 graduate of Emmaus High School and is survived by her loving parents, Robert Hunter of Emmaus and Lisa Hunter of Lehighton, and her three brothers Scott, Jesse and Jordon; maternal grandmother Maryann Balogach, and many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Services: Memorial Services Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 10:30 AM in Bethany United Methodist Church, 1208 Brookside Road, Allentown. Friends may call 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.
