Kathryn R. Vaupel, 73, of Allentown, died June 16, 2017 in her son's home. She was the widow of Charles A. Vaupel. Born in Ossian, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Wesley R. and Marie E. Snitker. She worked for Sam Adams Brewing Company, retiring in 2009. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie.

Survivors: Sons, Cary A. Vaupel and wife Kim of Allentown, Cory J. Vaupel of Lebanon, and Chad A. Vaupel and wife Barbara of Emmaus; Siblings, Gary and wife Nancy, Grant and wife Sharon, Gale and wife Janie, Judy wife of Fred Barnhouse, Karen wife of Sonnie Ashbacher, Sandy wife of Leon Felke, Karla wife of Terry Fisher, Greg and wife Mary, Patti wife of Rick Hughes, and Gordon and companion Mary Moen; Grandson, CJ Solt of Walnutport; Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Janet Larson and Gorman Snitker.

Services: Memorial Services Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 6:00 PM in Grace Lutheran Church, 28 West Main St., Macungie. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
