Kathleen D. “Kathy” Rupp, 81, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice. She was the devoted wife of Harry J. Rupp, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

Born in Quakertown, Kathy was the daughter of the late Warren and Artna (Buss) Sell. Throughout her life, Kathy was known for her warm personality, love of people, and zest for life. She enjoyed a long career as a waitress, working at the Limeport Inn, and several other fine dining establishments before beginning a 20-year career with Iobst Travel in Emmaus, where she retired.

Kathy had a true passion for travel and cherished the many adventures and memories she made along the way. She especially loved the beach, where she could relax, enjoy the sunshine, and take in the beauty of the ocean. She was a true lifestyle enthusiast who believed in enjoying life, making memories, and spending time with the people she loved most. Above all, Kathy treasured her family and the special moments they shared together.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Harry; her sons, Joel Rupp and his wife, Mary Ann, and Todd Rupp and his wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Tiffany, Joel, Jr., Todd, Jr., Kelsea, and Makenzi; great-grandchildren, Collin, Nyla, and Joel, III; and sisters, Renee Oxford and Marianne Sell. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Coopersburg.
