Kathleen Ann Potter, 79, of Paeonian Springs, VA, formerly of Emmaus, died Dec. 7, 2022 in her daughter's home.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Theresa (Zona) Potter and a 1961 graduate of Central Catholic High School.  She worked as a receptionist in healthcare and nonprofit organizations and at Rodale Press.  She was a past member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus.

Kathleen is survived by daughter, Jill, wife of Jeffery Payne of Paeonian Springs, VA; son, Eric Washychyn of Parker, CO; grandsons, Matthew and Gregory Payne; brother, Frank Potter of Florida; sisters, Susan Deringer and Mary Roberts both of Bethlehem, several nieces and nephews, and former husband, Michael Washychyn.  She was predeceased by siblings, Robert Potter and Helen Monroe.

Funeral services will be held on Wed., Dec. 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Emmaus.
