Kathleen A. "Nana" Haberstumpf, 96, of Emmaus, died October 2, 2015 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the widow of George H. Haberstumpf. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter the late Samuel and Mayme (Amig) Merkel. She, along with her husband, owned and operated the former Chestnut Street Market for 38 years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus. Survivors: Sons, Larry G. Haberstumpf of Bath and Ronald S. Haberstumpf and wife LouAnn of Bethlehem; Daughter, Beverley J. wife of Own Mangold of Emmaus; Sister, Jean Creveling of Allentown; Sister-in-Law, Lois Haberstumpf of Emmaus; 9 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Services: Funeral Services will be held Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Emmaus Moravian Cemetery. Contributions: May be made in her name to a charity of choice.
