December 17, 1942 – September 28, 2018
Kathy DeLong, 75, of Allentown went to heaven peacefully on September 28, 2018. She was the wife of Robert DeLong. Born in Allentown, PA she was the daughter of Clark Seng and step-daughter of Madeline Seng and biological Jackie Mark Carlyle. She graduated from Allen High School in 1960. Early in her life she worked at General Acceptance Corp and General Electric Allentown. She will be lovingly remembered for her involvement with Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church as council member and Sunday school teacher. Her main goal in life was working with and helping children. Doing this as a day care worker, at Alton Park Youth League, and church camp counselor and many years involved with the PTA at various schools.
She is survived by her husband Robert and their 3 children, Brian and wife Dr. Einat, Scott and his wife Amy and Rebecca and her husband Charles Bauer. She has 9 sisters Debbie, Beth, Rosemary (Deceased), Suzanne (Deceased), Paulette, Linda, Emily, Francis and Debra. She was a loving grandmother to 4 grandchildren, Cameron, Blake, Kassandra and Jacob.
Memorial Services will be held on Tues., Oct. 2, 2018 at 3:00 PM in Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church,
3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown, PA. 18103. Visitation 2:00 to 3:00 PM in the church. Interment will follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
Flowers may be sent or donations may be made to Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church.
