Karl F. Bauer, 93, of Allentown, died Oct. 10, 2021 in Lehigh Center.  He was the husband of Catherine (Rabenold) Bauer.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles "Karl" and Theresa (Lackner) Bauer.  Karl worked as a forklift operator for Bonny Forge for 28 years, retiring in 1990.  He was a member of the Bonny Forge retirees and loved all animals.

Karl is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Catherine; son, Chuck Bauer and wife Becky of Macungie; grandchildren, Cameron and Blake.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
