Obituary

Julius H. Keck, 94, of Allentown, formerly of Bronx, NY and Westbury, LI, NY, died September 4, 2014 in his residence. He was the widower of Eileen C. (Jacobsen) Keck. Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Ludwig and Emily (Marks) Keck. He was a repairman and set-up man for printing presses in New York City for 37 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus. He was an avid HAM radio operator, a member of the Old Buzzards, and a member of the Lehigh Valley Radio Club. He honorably served his country in the Army Air Corp. during WWII in the China, Burma and India Campaigns. Survivors: Many Nieces and Nephews. Services: Funeral Services Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus, PA 18049. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
