Julia H. Carl, 91, formerly of Emmaus, died January 14, 2017 in Life Care Center, Winter Haven, FL. She was the widow of William E. Carl. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Michael S. and Mary J. (Labanz) Janiga. She worked in the cafeteria of St. Ann's Catholic School and Cuisine Management, retiring in 1967. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, where she sang on the choir. She was a member of the Catholic War Vets, Ladies Auxiliary of the Emmaus VFW, and member of Emmaus and Macungie Senior Citizens.

Survivors: Daughter, Patricia A. wife of David K. Marsh of Lake Wales, FL; Grandsons, Joshua and Shawn; 3 Great Grandsons.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth St., Emmaus. Visitation 10:30 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
