Joyce M. Schmick Joyce M. Schmick, 83, of Kempton,formerly of Emmaus, died January 20, 2007 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Richard R. Schmick. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on January 19, 2007. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Mabel (Iobst) Fisher. She was a secretary for Richard R. Schmick, Inc. for 34 years, retiring in 1985. She was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 1941. She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury United Church of Christ, Allentown; member of the Ladies Aid and a past member of the church choir. Survivors: Husband, Richard; Daughters, Shirley wife of Richard Moyer of Catawissa, Janet wife of Paul Mrazek of Macungie, Betty wife of Thomas Ritter of Kutztown, Carol wife of Fred Ritter of Coopersburg and Cindy wife of Thomas Pappas of Allentown; Brother, Carson Fisher of Prospect, KY; Sisters, Violet wife of Edwin Hunsberger of Macungie and Rita wife of George Blyler of Emmaus; 10 Grandchildren Services: Funeral Services Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Jerusalem Western Salisbury Union Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown.
