Joyce F. Koze, age 97, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024. A lifelong Emmaus resident, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Anna (DeEsch) Kline; her family's roots in Emmaus and Salisbury Township date back to 1769. She married the late Albert W. Koze, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Retiring in 1965, she was a Sales Representative for American Diaper Service. Joyce's husband, Albert, and late son-in-law, Ernest J. MacIlwraith, Jr., were Real Estate Brokers and Builders in the Lehigh Valley. Joyce traveled the world with her friends, including Australia, Hawaii, the Panama Canal, and Italy.

Joyce was a member of St. John's UCC in Emmaus. She enjoyed bowling, golf, tennis, and baking. Joyce was known for her sense of humor and for always sharing jokes.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Jan MacIlwraith, and her companion, Tim Noble; granddaughters, Dannell M. MacIlwraith and her husband, Kyle Wagner; great-grandson Miles Wagner, and Jenna A. MacIlwraith and her husband, Jeremy Moore. She was predeceased by daughter Pamela Ann Koze and brother Neil Kline, who produced and directed musical productions throughout the Lehigh Valley.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. The graveside service will be private at the family's convenience. In honor of Joyce's love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to Outcast Rescue (outcastrescue.com) or St. John's UCC, 139 N. 4th Street, Emmaus, PA 18049.
