Joyce D. Buchman, 93, formerly of Macungie, died May 22, 2025 in Valley Manor Nursing and Rehab Center.  She was the wife of the late Robert A. Buchman.  Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Esther (Fretz) and Louis J. Fratscher, Sr.  Joyce worked for PPL for 9 years, in the business office at Easton Hospital for 15 years, secretary receptionist for the Easton Home for 8 years, and did medical billing for Coordinated Health before retiring in 2009.  She was a member of Unity Church of the Lehigh Valley, Emmaus.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Laura wife of Mark Robert; stepson, Robert A. Buchman, Jr. and wife Sandra; stepdaughter, Linda wife of Robert Kubilius; grandchildren, Brandon, Sarah, Alec, and Ryan; step grandchildren, Adam and Renee; 5 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, Edward L. Buchman and a brother, Louis J. Fratscher, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Fri., June 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Rd., Easton.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
