Josephine M. Nichter Josephine M. Nichter, 95, of Emmaus, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011. She was the loving wife of the late Charles L. Nichter. Born in Elmhurst, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Beil) Galan. She was a volunteer at Lehigh Valley Hospital for 15 years. Survivors: Sons, Robert C. Nichter and wife Shirley of Morgantown, WV and Dr. Charles A. Nichter and Ana Dimpas of Albany, NY; Daughter, Barbara M. Korpics of Macungie; 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
