Joseph Kozak, 89, of Allentown, died April 26, 2022 in his home. He was the husband of Ginny (Barch) Kozak. Born in his family's farmhouse in Macungie, he was the son of the late George and Helen (Hotchko) Kozak. Joe was a self-employed aluminum siding contractor and was known for his extraordinary craftsmanship. He was the living embodiment of the American story. The child of immigrants, he raised a family on a blue-collar job, and saw his own children off to college and graduate school. He was an avid fisherman of local streams and loved telling stories of whitetail deer hunting on his family homestead.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Ginny; sons, Gary of Easton and Mark of Park City, UT; daughters, Linda and Michele at home; 4 grandchildren; great grandson, Joseph; brothers, Paul and Sam. He was predeceased by a son, Joseph.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
