Obituary

Joseph F. Andreucci, Sr. Joseph F. Andreucci, Sr., 75, of Zionsville, formerly of New Haven, CT and Dix Hills, NY died September 26, 2008 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra K. (Peters) Andreucci. Born in New Haven, CT he was the son of the late Rose (LaCava) and Michael Andreucci. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Yale University. He was a music teacher and administrator for Islip Public Schools, and a musician for the New York City Ballet Company Orchestra; retiring in 1992. He was a member of Assumption BVM Church, Colesville. He was past president of the New York State School Music Association and the Suffolk County Music Educators' Association. He was the current president of the Friends of Southern Lehigh Public Library and past member of the Atlantic Wind Symphony and the Sammy K. Band. He was an avid Yankees fan. Survivors: Wife, Sons, Peter Andreucci of Petaluma, CA, Robert Andreucci and wife Theresa of Center Valley, Christopher Andreucci and wife Merideth of Pittsford, NY, Douglas Andreucci of Huntington, NY; Daughters, Lisa wife of Douglas Lowry of Zionsville, Kelly wife of Nick Stabile of Setauket, NY, Jennifer wife of Jesse Young of Coplay, Sandra wife of Adam Stone, East Setauket, NY; 15 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Joseph F. Andreucci, Jr. in 1994. Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 5050 St. Joseph's Road, Limeport. Friends may call Tuesday evening September 30, 2008 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus and 10:00-11:00 AM Wednesday at the church. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
