John W. Trauch, Sr. John W. Trauch, Sr., 96, of Emmaus, formerly of Wescosville, went home to His Lord December 23, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice. He was the widower of Doris N. (Kauffman) Trauch. Born in Red Hill, he was the son of the late William and Alice Trauch. He was the Executive Director for Industrial Development Corporation for over 25 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Valleyview Baptist Church and a longtime former member and elder of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church. He served on the Board of Directors and was Treasurer of Fellowship Manor. He honorably served his country in the Army during WWII. Survivors: Son, John "Jack" W. Trauch, Jr. and wife Susan of Emmaus; Grandchildren, Amanda Flora, Matthew Trauch, and Joseph Schweitzer and 10 Great Grandchildren. Services: Funeral Services Sat., Dec. 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Valleyview Baptist Church, 2870 Pheasant Dr., Northampton, PA 18067. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Pennsburg U.C.C. Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
