John W. "Jack" Trauch, Jr., 81, of Emmaus, died March 14, 2025 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.  He was the husband of Susan M. (Schweitzer) Trauch, being married for 61 years.  Born in Red Hill, he was the son of the late Doris (Kauffman) and John W. Trauch, Sr.  Jack worked in truck management, working for Hubco Ford, Mack Trucks, and Peterbilt of the Poconos.  He was an active member of Valleyview Baptist Church, serving as a deacon and on missions committee for many years.

Jack is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Amanda Flora; sons, John Matthew Trauch (Jennifer), and Joseph Schweitzer (Heather); grandchildren, Alexandra and Rachel Flora, Brittany DeValle (Jeff), Katelyn Ossman (Jason), Jared Trauch (Elizabeth), Megan Roberts (Andrew), Tradd and Sydney Schweitzer, and Victoria Shoff (Kenneth); great grandchildren, Juliet, JT, Parker, Savanah, Stephen, Phoebe, and Samuel.

Funeral services will be held on Wed., March 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Valleyview Baptist Church, 2870 Pheasant Dr., Northampton, PA 18067.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.  Interment will follow in Pennsburg U.C.C. Cemetery.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his church to benefit missions.
