John W. Ritter John W. Ritter, 92, of Emmaus, died October 18, 2009 in his residence. He was the husband of Lorraine E. (Berlin) Ritter. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on October 14,2009. Born in Fullerton, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Snyder) Ritter. He worked as an engineer for the former Spirax Sarco for 48 years, retiring in 1984. He and his wife were members of St. Matthews E.C. Church, Emmaus. Survivors: Wife; Daughter, Susan I. Mitchell of Allentown; Sisters, Jane Franklin of Allentown, and Dorothy Smith of Fullerton; Grandson, Eric R. Mitchell. He was predeceased by a son, David B. Ritter. Services: Funeral Services Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:30 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
