John Thomas Leone, 73, of Emmaus, was called home and joined his beloved wife Feb. 21, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Ruth Ann (Boyer) Leone.  Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Samuel S. and Theresa (Borelli) Leone.  John owned and operated John Leone Sanitation, later Leone Disposal, and currently John's Hauling and Trash Removal for over 45 years.  He loved music and was a jukebox collector and collector of 45 records. John was a family man and loved his children and grandchildren dearly and was a social man and enjoyed talking to many.

John is survived by his daughters, Lori wife of Matthew Stephens of Mertztown and Candice Leone wife of Tyler Moyer of Emmaus; grandchildren, Leah Moyer, Anthony Moyer, Skyler Stephens, and Samuel Stephens; sister, Antoinette Bereczki of Reading; brother, Robert "Bobby" Leone of Reading.  He was predeceased by a brother, Samuel Leone and sister, Frances Wollyung.

Funeral services will be held on Mon., Feb. 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing Sun. 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Mon. 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home.
