John L. Kleppinger, 77, of Schnecksville, died April 8, 2022 in St. Luke's Allentown Campus.  He was the husband of Barbara (Knerr) Kleppinger.  Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Lewis and Julia Alice (Klopfenstein) Kleppinger.  He worked for EC Machin, Lafarge Corporation, and later was the founder and owner of Blue Mountain Pigment for the last 28 years.  He was an accomplished musician, playing the piano and organ.

John is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara; daughters, Jill Kleppinger and Susan wife of Jeremy Schilling; grandchildren, Lucy and Emma Schilling and Blake Zicker; nieces, Pam and Angie Fenstermaker.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Faith E. Kleppinger.

A celebration of life for Faith and John will be held at a future date.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
