John Dennis Durnin John Dennis Durnin, 51, of Fleetwood, formerly of Emmaus, passed away December 30, 2009 with family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Amy J. (Kirschman) Durnin. They celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in July 2009. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Elizabeth (Dennis) Durnin and the late William Durnin. A graduate of Emmaus High School, John worked for many years as a technician for the former Sammons Communications and most recently Service Electric Cablevision. John was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. Some of his happiest times were those spent in the woods. He was a friend of Bill Ws. Survivors: He will be lovingly missed by his wife; Mother; Sons, Joshua and his wife Kelsey, Zachary and his wife Jessica, and Jacob; Daughter, Cara at home; Brother, Robert Durnin; Sisters, Rita Linn and her husband Bob and Lisa Durnin; Grandchildren, Anna, Noah, Emma, and Logan; many friends and relatives.
