John T. Breslin John T. Breslin, 87, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2008 in his residence. He was the husband of Albena M. (Popson) Breslin. Born in Freeland, he was the son of the late John J. and Kathryn (Paletski) Breslin. He attended MMI and graduated from Villanova University in 1951. He was a civil engineer for PPL Corp. for 31 years, retiring in 1982. He honorably served his country in the Army with the 51st Engineers Combat Battalion during WWII serving in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the Emmaus Mercantile Club, was an avid bowler and was the 1968 city champ and was a member of the Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge. Survivors: Wife; Son, John J. Breslin and wife Sally of Allentown; Daughters, Kathleen M.Breslin-Foulkrod and husband Rick of Cheltenham, Joan A. Breslin of Whitehall; Brother, Frank Breslin and wife Mary of Levittown, Sister, Mary Chabalko of El Paso, TX; Grandchildren, Faith, JonAlan, Timothy and Haley. A brother, Thomas Breslin, predeceased him. Services: Funeral Services Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
