Joanne K. Parker, 95, of Allentown, passed away suddenly on October 26, 2026 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Frederick W. Parker. Born in Milford Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Richard A. and Mabel E. (Hedberg) Kearsley. Joanne was a lifelong seamstress, working for both private clients and Nan Carlby in Allentown. She later worked for Once is Not Enuff in Emmaus. She was an active member of the Allentown Woman’s Club and Lehigh Valley Couturiere Society for many years. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, and widows’ lunches.

Joanne is survived by her children, Frederick Parker, Jr. and his wife Eileen, Richard Parker and his wife Denise, and Karen Parker and her partner Patrick Roche; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Wayne Kearsley.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
