Joan B. Ward Joan B. Ward, 70, of Macungie, formerly of Lindenwold, NJ, died August 11, 2008 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of William J. Ward. They celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in September 2007. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (McGlynn) Boyle. She was a teachers aid in the special education department in the Lindenwold School District. She was a member of St. Anns Catholic Church, Emmaus. Survivors: Husband; Son, Andrew J. Ward and wife Donna of Bethlehem, Brian C. Ward and wife Elizabeth of Philadelphia, and Kevin W. Ward and wife Ellie of Needham, MA; Brother, Joseph Boyle of Florida; Sisters, Margaret Brogan of Frederick, MD, Patricia Leuders of Lancaster, and Bernice wife of Robert DiLiberto of Hazleton; Brother-in-law, William McNeles of Hazleton; Grandchildren, Kaylyn, Shane, Kathryn, William, Lucy, and Owen.
