Joan Q. Perna, 78, of Emmaus, died March 2, 2015 at home. She was the widow of John C. Perna. Born in West Grove, she was the daughter to the late William G. and Ellen (DuRoss) Quinn. She was a teacher, working for Lehigh Valley Child Care and Vera Cruz School, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Survivors: Son, Mark D. Perna of Emmaus; Daughters, Susan P. Williams of Emmaus and Jeannine P. wife of Dale R. Miller of Oley; Grandchildren, Howard M. Williams, III, Corey M. Williams, and Christopher Q. Williams. Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated March 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 610 Pine St., Bally. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow in parish cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
