Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Stutzbach) Piccirillo. She worked as the Confidential Secretary for the Town Supervisor of Huntington, NY. She was an avid golfer and member of the Wedgewood Ladies Golf League.
