Joan D. Hillegass, 86, of Emmaus, died Sept. 6, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice.  She was the widow of Robert R. Hillegass, Sr.  Born in Weatherly, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Emily (Clewell) Highland.  Joan was a garment worker for Phoenix and Greiff Companies for 28 years.  She was a member of St. John's U.C.C., Emmaus.
Joan is survived by her children, Scott K. Hillegass and wife Ruth, Susan wife of Ronald Masters, Robin wife of David Fuller, Dolores wife of John Norris, and Penny wife of Glenn Link; Half Sister, Linda Bradley; 19 Grandchildren and 44 Great Grandchildren.  She was predeceased by children, Robert R. Hillegass, II, Bruce A. Hillegass, and Tracy Ann Hillegass.
Funeral Services will be held on Mon., Sept. 10, 2018 at 10:30 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
