Joan M. Gbur, 77, of Emmaus, died February 8, 2023 in in her home.  She was the wife of Burt Gbur, Sr. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rhoda (Cunning) Mack. She owned an operated her own beauty salon, and worked as an inspector for American Electronic Laboratories.  She was born and raised in the catholic faith.

Joan is survived by her husband, Burt Gbur, Sr.; children, Shelia wife of Bob Dontonville of Quakertown, Burt Gbur, Jr. and wife Olga of Emmaus, and Tony Gbur and wife Michelle of Breinigsville; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Olivia, Callie, Anthony, Joseph, Ana, and Chloe; sisters, Catherine Sterner of Allentown and Ann wife of John Zuber of Summit Hill.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
