Jerry A. Cox, 52, of Coopersburg, died May 27, 2017 in his home. He was the beloved companion of the late Jackie J. Shedlock, for 23 years. Born in Washington, he was the son of Gloria (Wells) and the late Ernest Cox. Jerry was a tow truck driver for A-1 Towing in Allentown.

Survivors: In North Dakota, Mother; Daughters, Celeste and Kendra Cox; 7 Siblings; nieces and nephews. In Pennsylvania, the late John S. Shedlock, Jeanne Shedlock, with whom he resided, Steven Shedlock and companion Ginger Muse, Sandra Cary, and Suzanne wife of Steve Butterweck, Nephews, Jack and Julian; Niece, Sofia.

Services: Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Pastor Tom Scornavacchi officiating. Visitation will begin at 6:30 PM followed by a Celebration of Jerry's life at 7:30 PM. All are welcome to come and share stories. Interment Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Emmaus Moravian Cemetery.
