Obituary

Jerald F. Neetz, "Pappy" 90, of Emmaus, passed away August 18, 2016 in At Home, Inc. Born in

Emaus, he was the son of the late Charles and Lillian (Hunsberger) Neetz. He was the widower

of Althea L. (Kehm) Neetz. Jerald proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine during WWII

and continued to practice the core values of the U.S Marine Corps Honor, Courage, and

Commitment throughout his life. Jerald was co-owner of J&J Floor Maintenance and later

worked as a custodian for the East Penn School District. Pappy was loved and respected by

everyone he met. He was an avid Steelers Fan. Pappy enjoyed many days playing with his

monkeys (great grandchildren). He was a member of Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old

Zionsville. If the Army and the Navy Ever look on Heaven's scenes, They will find the streets are guarded By United States Marines.

Survivors: Sons, Ricky A. Neetz of Emmaus, Michael A. Neetz and wife Marcella of Emmaus,

Roger L. Neetz and wife Jennifer of Alburtis, Jerald F. Neetz of Bethlehem, and Mark W. Neetz

and companion Susan Kostura of Fogelsville; Brother, Roger Neetz of FL; Grandchildren,

Matthew, Michael, Nicole, Kate, Amber,Megan and Zach; Great Grandchildren, James, Charles,

Hailey, Logan, Zachary and Brett. He is predeceased by Son, David Neetz; Brothers, Arthur,

John and William Neetz.

Services: Funeral, Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250

Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment with military honors will follow in

Zions Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Old Zionsville.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any Veterans Charity of your

choice.
