Jeffrey David Ambrose, 70, of Emmaus, died April 27, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Chester Joseph and Peggy (Hilbert) Ambrose.  Jeff was a 1970 graduate of Allen High School.  He honorably served his country in the Army during Vietnam with the 101 ^st Airborne Division, Company D, 17 ^th Infantry, where he was assigned as a rifleman.  After his service in the Army, he worked for General Electric from 1969 to 1985, Lehigh County Government Center from 1986 to 2006 and worked as a courier for Lehigh Valley Health Network for over 25 years.  He was a member of St. Peter' Union Church, Macungie and the Mercantile Club, Emmaus.

Jeffrey is survived by brother, David Richard Ambrose and wife Linda; nephews, Jason David Ambrose and wife Ashley and Kevin Frey and wife Kristal Frey; great nieces and nephews, Sienna Ambrose, Briley Souza, Wyatt Frey, Ethan Frey, and Kaelyn Frey.

Funeral services will be held on Tue., May 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 11:00 to 1:00 PM in the funeral home.  Interment with military honors will follow in St. Peter's Union Cemetery.
