Jay Maxwell Fretz Jay Maxwell Fretz, 53, of Breinigsville, died Sept. 7, 2011 in his residence. He was the husband of Wanda E. (Marsh) Fretz. They celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary on Dec. 16, 2010. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of Glenn E. Fretz and the late Marlene J. Maxwell. He worked for Haldeman, Knopf Automotive, and as the new car sales manager for Daniels BMW for the past 20 years. He was an active member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus, where he was an usher, reader, and member of the Building Committee. He was a former member of the EYA, coaching baseball and soccer. Jay was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He had a great love of music and playing the guitar. Survivors: Wife; Father, Glenn E. Fretz and wife Jane of Allentown; Sons, Jared P. Fretz and wife Kelly of Pittsburgh and Christian J. Fretz and fianc Maya Harris of New York City, NY; Sisters, Dana L. wife of Perry Friz of Emmaus, Gwenda L. wife of Calvin Reed of Forks Twp., and Meredith F. wife of Stephen Merino of Media; Stepbrothers, James Scandola and John Scandola; Stepsisters, Joni Scandola and Julie Scandola Sturm. Services: Memorial Services Friday, Sept. 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus. Friends may call 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the church.
